On September 20^th I ventured forth to Mt Petrie den to participate in the first Scouter Skills Day.  Lead by Steve Marshall (Branch Commissioner for Scout Section), Peter Pullbrook, Joe Casey and Scott Masters it was a very social day of learning about the more practical elements of scoutcraft.  I came home with some new games, some more practice at splicing and some great ideas for journey planning and am looking forward to implementing these this term.
